Hi and welcome! I’m Julie and I've hired myself to make the most of my family’s finances. I started The Family CEO to document my efforts and to share what I’ve learned. I blog about saving and investing, paying off debt, paying for college, and managing my family's money. And because I really hate to follow budgets, I talk a lot about found money, which is a strategy that's helped us pay off debt and build our savings.
Along the way I've discovered that money is about much more than numbers. It's about the kind of life you want to live. So The Family CEO has expanded to include the things that are important to me, like simplifying and making a home, and the things that make my life full, like books, entertaining, travel, and finding ways to give.
