a blog about money and the business of life
Welcome! I’m Julie and I've hired myself to make the most of my family’s finances. I started The Family CEO to document my journey and share what I’ve learned.
I blog about paying off debt, paying for college, and saving and investing. And because I really hate to follow budgets, I talk a lot about found money, which is a strategy that's helped us pay off debt and build our savings.
But I’ve discovered that money is less about numbers, and more about the kind of life you want to live. To be intentional with money is to be intentional about life. So I write about simplifying and life stuff too.
I hope that the things we talk about at The Family CEO will help you make the most of your money, but mostly I hope that they'll help you create a life that you love.
