Passive income refers to money that you earn even while you are not actively working. With passive income, you create a product or system and it continues to earn money for your when you are not working. Creating a song and earning royalties any time it is downloaded is an example of passive income.
Passive income can bring in big bucks over time. There are many sources of passive income on the Internet from writing to design and more.
Blogging
Writing for a blog is one of the main ways that people earn a passive income on the Internet. You can write about anything, and tackle subjects like auto car insurance, pet care, or fashion. With a blog, you build up a base of traffic, then charge companies to advertise their products or services on your site. You can write one article and gain revenue from it each time someone reads it. There are blogs generating income from posts that were written years ago. Many bloggers earn a full-time living simply by writing for the Web.
Stock Photgraphy
The Web is all about content. Photographers provide bloggers and webmasters with the pictures they need to sell their products. Photographers can earn a full-time living by simply taking great pictures and selling them to stock photo sites. Each time someone downloads the photo, the photographer gets a royalty. These royalties can be a few pennies or a dollar or more. If you multiply this by several hundred photos a month, it is not hard to see how photographers are making a killing on the Internet.
E-Books
If you are an authority on a topic, creating an e-book is an excellent way to earn passive income on the Internet. Write a short book and publish it on one of the many e-book compatible sites. Whenever someone downloads your book, get a percentage of the sales price. For a book that takes you a month to create, you can earn money every month for years to come.

Great post Julie! This is exactly what I’ve been doing for several years now. However, I must admit I have not made a “killing” yet online. But I have set up many income streams by joining sites and programs that pay me to do things like take surveys, watch videos, write articles, click ads, and even one that pays me and my downline to get text messages from their advertisers. The common denominator between these income streams is that they were all free, no cost opportunities. It’s amazing what you can find online to help generate income! Just be careful and don’t pay for something before doing the research or just stuck to the freebies like I do!
