A Grateful Nation

Last fall our family was privileged to get to travel to West Point Military Academy to see my brother-in-law retire from a 20 year military career.

He retired safely, but many have not.

Since tomorrow is Memorial Day in the U.S. – a day we remember those who gave their lives in service to our country – I wanted to share with you some of the pictures I took on that trip.

And thank you to everyone who has served. You have our undying gratitude.

Note: I'm no longer adding new posts to The Family CEO. I am, however, writing at Creating This Life, where we talk about home, books, travel, and other life stuff.

Julie, these are great photos! Thanks for sharing. My brother in law retired from the Coast Guard after 20 years, too. It’s amazing how quickly that time goes!
